AfroBerlin 2026 — Generational Legacy brought together voices from across film, culture, music, technology and the creative industries to explore the connections between generations, identities and creative futures.

Across its programme, AfroBerlin created a space for dialogue, discovery and exchange — connecting established voices with emerging talent and bringing African, diasporic and international perspectives into conversation in Berlin.

This report captures the people, conversations and ideas that shaped the 2026 edition, while documenting the continued evolution of AfroBerlin as a platform for film, culture, industry and connections.
