Filmmakers, scholars, and audiences engage in discussions that bridge artistic practice with historical and contemporary perspectives.

  Dedicated industry sessions will bring together producers, funders, distributors, broadcasters, and cultural institutions. These closed and open professional encounters are designed to foster collaboration, co-production opportunities, and sustainable networks between African, European, and global creative industries.

  Afro Film Music Day celebrates the vital role of music and sound in cinema. Through panels, listening sessions, case studies, and live exchanges, composers, music supervisors, sound designers, and filmmakers explore how African and Afro-diasporic musical traditions shape cinematic language.
