AfroBerlin 2027 | Future Memory explores the powerful relationship between heritage, cinema and the future. AfroBerlin brings together filmmakers, artists, musicians and industry professionals to examine how stories, images and cultural memories travel across generations—and how they can shape the worlds we imagine next.

Through screenings, conversations, industry encounters and creative exchange, Future Memory celebrates African and diasporic storytelling as a living archive: rooted in history, driven by innovation, and constantly reinventing the future.
